Responsible governance priorities

Responsible governance at ISS is embedded in our culture, leadership and operational practices. From frontline service delivery to strategic decision-making, our governance framework ensures that ISS operates responsibly, consistently and transparently across every environment we support.

Because trust is built not only on the services we deliver, but on the way we deliver them.

ISS Pacific

ISS Pacific supplementary policies and licences

In conjunction with the ISS Corporate Governance documents, ISS Australia and New Zealand demonstrates commitment to good corporate governance and behaviour at a local level through the following policies and licences.

Management systems and compliance

Our services operate under internationally recognised management systems and audited frameworks, providing a verified foundation for consistent service delivery.

Regulatory alignment

We review policies regularly to reflect changes in legislation, licensing and privacy requirements across Australia and NewZealand. This ensures ISS remains compliant within every sector where we operate.

Data integrity

Operational information, including energy, safety, and service levels, is captured through structured controls. Data is managed with the same discipline used in financial reporting, supporting accuracy, traceability and assurance readiness.

Ethical standards

The ISS Code of Conduct sets the behavioural expectations for everyone representing ISS. It establishes how we work with integrity, fairness and professionalism, regardless of contract scale or operational complexity.

Supply chain transparency

Supplier evaluation

Suppliers are assessed for safety performance, financial stability, ethical labour practices and alignment with ISS standards. This supports responsible procurement and ensures the integrity of the services delivered.

Human rights due diligence

ISS is committed to protecting human rights across its operations and supply chain. Our Modern Slavery Statement details how we identify, assess and address risk through structured due diligence, supplier engagement and ongoing review.

Accountability and reporting

Strong governance includes clear pathways for raising concerns and ensuring they are handled appropriately.

ISS provides both local and global reporting channels so employees, customers and partners can raise concerns safely and confidentially.

In Australia and New Zealand, concerns can be raised through the local Ombudsman Grievance Line. We also provide access to the global Speak Up Line, an independent reporting channel facilitated by Group Internal Audit.

Because creating environments built on trust means making it safe for people to speak up.
