Study with ISS

A new entry certificate is required for all Aviation Screeners as of January 2022, which replaces the need to hold a Certificate II in Security Operations and a security licence. This is known as the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) and has recently been passed through Australia’s Parliament, as a new requirement to enhance the awareness and screening quality of Aviation Screeners to meet new and emerging terrorist threat levels.

ISS Training is an accredited Registered Training Organisation and offers this pathway for future employees looking to join ISS in one of our airports across Australia. By providing both online learning modules and practical on-site training this qualification prepares students for taking their next step in their career in Aviation as an Aviation Protection Screener.
