Why ISS?

1. Our People

At ISS we recognise the importance of competent, trustworthy and cross-trained employees as the focal point for security of transportation infrastructure and assets.

When recruiting new employees, we look in particular for an ability to combine customer service skills with comprehensive expertise as well as the physical and psychological qualities necessary for performing a variety of security operations. It is our employees’ attitude, service level and efforts that ensure we are providing the best possible tailored service to our customers.

Continuous oversight and guidance from Supervisors, together with the creation of a sense of purpose and belonging helps to keep our employees motivated. This is evidenced by the level of direct employees and their length of service. In order to maintain their high quality we conduct a range of training development courses leading, for example, to the Certificate in Security Guarding. We only employ licensed aviation security officers, all of whom meet the same uniform standards and training qualifications, enabling us to quickly allocate people where needed.

ISS customers receive dynamic and responsive services that are adapted to meet their needs throughout the life of the contract. Our rosters and manning levels can be changed and scaled up or down depending on your needs and budget.

We will work with you to find the best solution, and continue to suggest ways to improve service and drive value throughout the length of the contract.

3. Reducing Your Risk

We leverage our global expertise to mitigate the tactical, operational and strategic risk that your transportation business may face. We have proven systems which can assess the risks, and then on an ongoing basis, provide accurate reporting and management data. Our written processes and procedures ensure a consistent approach to legislative requirements.

Our officers are trained to react appropriately across a myriad of situations. Many of our team are trained in first aid and resuscitation, having saved numerous lives when health issues occur at the screening point or passenger terminal.
