Our People Survey

To ensure that our employees understand their role and the level of support available, in 2012 ISS launched a global Employee Engagement Survey. This survey was the first of its kind on this scale, with the aim of reaching half a million employees. We understand that there is a link between employee engagement and our customers’ satisfaction. Happy employees means happy customers!

In Australia nearly half of our workforce took part, which helps to give us a clear picture of what we are doing well and where we can improve. The results gave us some key areas of focus. For example, we found out that we needed to improve our annual performance review process and a simpler ‘half time’ and ‘full time’ conversation structure has now been rolled out nationally.

This will now be a regular survey so that we can track our progress against the improvement areas.
